In the last few years many agencies, private companies and associations have joined the ranks of law enforcement organizations to request background checks on individuals. Local and state agencies perform these background checks using finger print cards. The Tribal-AFP (Applicant Fingerprint Processor) provides the means to track, barcode, and relate the information. The system can keep track of accounting dollars for various agencies and generate a slew of reports for validating the personal information. Fingerprint cards can also be bar-coded, this is used to force unique card IDs and thus eliminate typing errors for updates. The Tribal-AFP keeps permanent records of the applicants personal information recorded from the applicant cards. These cards are then sent to the authorized agencies for background searches. If the applicant has historical information that information or record can then be sent to the requestor and defaulted reports can be printed directly from the Tribal-AFP. This one software program will act as the liaison for the various agencies and departments and then evaluate and report the findings. That information is then permanently recorded and all audit trails updated. With the Tribal-AFP the separate agencies and entities can finally have a common ground and all of the related information can be traced back to one source the applicant fingerprint cards.
